Political consultations held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine

On February 20, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Mishenko. During the meeting, topical issues of the current agenda of cooperation between the two countries, as well as the situation in the region, were discussed. The parties emphasized the position consistently demonstrated by the two countries on sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of state borders, as well as the importance of relations between the countries, which are based on the fundamental principles of international law and mutual respect. The Ukrainian side noted that Azerbaijan's contribution to the restoration and reconstruction of the conflict-affected regions of Ukraine, as well as the humanitarian assistance provided to the Ukrainian people, is highly appreciated.

During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on other regional and global issues of mutual interest.

Political consultations were also held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine. The political consultations were led by Deputy Minister Samir Sharifov from Azerbaijan and Oleksandr Mishenko from Ukraine.
